Alicia Fulton joined the Ability team in 2018 upon earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Services with a minor in Human Resource Management from Central Washington University. Alicia has always been fascinated by the psychology and social service fields and knew that she wanted to take a hands-on approach with helping others. During an internship with the state, she looked into several avenues of counseling and learned about the need and rewarding opportunity of becoming a Vocational Counselor. Alicia started off working for Ability in an assistant capacity where she was able to become well-versed in case management, the worker’s compensation process, and working effectively with all involved stakeholders. She earned her Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) certification in 2021. She is passionate about working directly with her clients to develop appropriate vocational recovery plans in order for them to achieve personal and professional fulfillment. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, traveling, interior decorating, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Remi. Alicia serves Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Cowlitz and Clark Counties.
