Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University in 2012. She began the 22-month apprenticeship program at the Department of Labor and Industries in 2014. After earning her journey-level certificate; Melissa went on to assist employers with their worker’s compensation claims as a Third-Party Administrator. While working as a Third-Party Administrator she assisted employers with developing appropriate return to work plans and helped them utilize the different programs that Labor and Industries offers. She is a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), since 2017. She has experience working with complex claims and developing appropriate vocational recovery plans. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, camping, sporting events and spending time with her family and friends. Melissa serves Pierce, King and Snohomish counties.
